Days 1 and 2 according to the WSDC schedule. The journey to Cape Town via Doha and Johannesburg, arriving just in time for the Opening Ceremony, held at the University of Cape Town.
Bangladesh and Swaziland. Swaziland, in their very first WSDC, blew everyone's minds with their amazing performance. New to the gift giving culture they were quite unprepared for our bamboo houses, badges and narikeler naru! Very generously, at the end of the tournament, each member of the Swaziland team gave us their own badges.
Facing Swaziland and Greece in Sans Souci Girls High School, a walk to the V&A Waterfront, and then debates against The Netherlands and Kuwait in the South African College School, the oldest school in the southern hemisphere.
Bangladesh v/s Netherlands, in the library of the oldest school in the southern hemisphere.
The finals were held at St George's Cathedral, and was between Scotland and Wales. Scotland won on a 8-1 split.
